In New Zealand there is no legislated qualification requirements for home inspectors. Many home inspectors are not qualified as home inspectors and some are not even insured. At A Buyer’s Choice Home Inspections we believe the New Zealand homeowner deserves a high level of professionalism.
All of our owner operated franchised inspectors are required to complete an internationally recognised home inspection course involving several hundred hours study and pass the final examinations to become qualified. This is followed by a 1 week A Buyer’s Choice Home Inspections “Boot Camp” conducting classroom and field training at our Auckland office.
All A Buyer’s Choice Home Inspections are conducted in accordance with NZS 4306:2005.
We recommend that no one ever use an uninsured or an untrained non qualified home inspector.
